What is PU leather?

• PU (Polyurethane) is a material that looks like leather. Also called imitation leather , its grain is soft, smooth, regular and shiny, whereas leather has small pores on the surface. Polyurethane is a fabric coated with one or more layers of polymer. Faux leather has no smell unlike leather.

What is PVD?

• PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition (English) or (Physical Vapor Deposition (French)) is a metallization process that allows thin layers of material to be deposited under vacuum using vapor on a coating. Borrowed from industry, PVD is therefore used in watchmaking to give a tint to certain parts such as cases , bracelets in metal, but also the hands or the indexes. This PVD surface treatment often replaces gold plating and it therefore has an essentially aesthetic interest, because it makes it possible to obtain pieces in pink gold, yellow gold or even black.
